Wait, 14 articles posted in 28 days? Jesus.

Already two articles posted on WP this month, with a third likely up tomorrow. I'm devoting a lot of hours to this now, be it playing the games, writing about them, or talking on the phone to developers. I'm really hoping to add live event coverage in there as soon as possible, but that's up to my editors to decide.

Anyway, the good: the Virtua Fighter 5 and Ratchet & Clank reviews came out really well, as did the Q&A's for MLB 07: The Show and Made Man. The Editorial Spotlight is a new monthly feature I'm doing at WorthPlaying, which I'm pretty happy with. It lets me ramble on a bit about the month's biggest games, though I'm not sure how many people have actually seen it. I hadn't really planned on doing much writing for Static Multimedia, but I'm pleased with those reviews as well. They're much smaller than the ones I do for WP, and I think my prose reads well in short form. I probably won't do another for at least a couple of weeks, but I definitely intend to keep doing 'em occasionally. (Oh, and the bad: check out the responses on the Burnout Revenge Q&A. Yikes.)

Currently, I'm working on SSX Blur (Wii), Dance Dance Revolution Universe (Xbox 360), and Major League Baseball 2K7 (Xbox 360). My intention was to work on the first two and then cycle MLB in when I finished one, but I ended up playing it for two hours tonight. Oops...

Aside from that, I've applied for a couple of freelance gigs, but have yet to hear anything back. That's really the drag of all this; not hearing back when you apply for something or e-mail an inquiry. Anyway, I'm keeping (really) busy and exploring all potential opportunities to get where I want to be in a timely manner.
